Welcome to the homepage of the Microsensors and Microelectronics Laboratory at Washington State University Vancouver. Our group studies materials, devices, and systems at the micro- and nano-scale. Our main reearch interests are in the areas of microsensors, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), micro/nano electronics, chemical- and bio-sensors, semiconductor microfabrication, nanofabrication, and MEMS modeling.
You can find Dr. Wei Xue's Curriculum Vitae. For more detailed information about our current research projects and members, please use the links on the left column to explore.
Research Opportunities: we are looking for self-motivated full-time and part-time assistants (graduate students, undergraduate students, and volunteers) to work on research projects. We welcome students with different backgrounds: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, materials science, and chemistry. If you are interested in learning MEMS and nanotechnology, understanding microelectronics and sensors, and gaining hands-on experience in the cleanroom, please contact Dr. Wei Xue for more information.
Office Hours (2012): not available during the summer. Office hours will resume in the fall of 2012.
